Dr. Federici earned his B.S. in Organic Chemistry and Clinical Psychology in 1980 at Purdue University and went on to earn his first Master’s degree in Biological/Physiological Psychology from the University of Chicago in 1981. In 1983, Dr. Federici earned a second Master’s degree in Neuropsychology from the University of Illinois School of Professional Psychology, and two years later, he also earned a dual Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology and Child Development from the University of Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Ronald Federici opened his practice Neuropsychological and Family Therapy Associates in McLean, Virginia in 1986. Today, in addition to serving as the practice’s Clinical Supervisor, Dr. Federici is also the acting Director. The world-renowned practice specializes in the treatment of internationally and domestically adopted children with severe trauma, fetal alcohol syndrome, deprivation, family discord, violent behavior, attachment disorders, behavior problems, and school problems.
